<p><strong>Confirm suitability with appliance manufacturer prior to use.</strong> Wear protective clothing, rubber gloves, and eye protection when using Scalex.</p> <h4>Dishwashers</h4> <ol> <li>Empty dishwasher of all dishes and cutlery.</li> <li>Fill the detergent dispenser with <strong>Scalex</strong> & sprinkle 2 level tablespoons around inside.</li> <li>Run through one normal cycle.</li> </ol> <h4>Washing Machines</h4> <ol> <li>Remove all laundry items.</li> <li>Sprinkle 1 level tablespoon of <strong>Scalex</strong> into the bowl (not the soap dispenser).</li> <li>Run through one normal cycle.</li> </ol> <h4>General Descaling & Rust Removal</h4> <ol> <li>Stir & dissolve 1 level tablespoon of <strong>Scalex</strong> into 1 litre of hot water.</li> <li>Immerse stainless steel shower head or glassware, etc., in solution & soak for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.</li> <li>To remove rust from bathtubs, toilet bowls, etc., apply solution (from step 1) directly onto the stain & rinse promptly with cold water. Repeat with a double-strength solution if necessary.</li> </ol>
